The United Nations plays a central role in fostering the liberties of religion or belief (FoRB) worldwide. Through policy approaches, the UN seeks to ensure that individuals and groups may to practice their beliefs freely and in the absence of discrimination. Furthermore, the UN offers support to nations in enhancing their legal and institutional
